Used Hammer Crushers for Sale — 5–300 t/h, Inspected Before Shipment

FairTradeMachinery stocks used hammer crushers in three size classes, from 400 mm to 1600 mm rotor width, covering 5–300 t/h at a 25 mm discharge. Every unit is inspected before loading, ships with a full set of spare hammers, and carries a 1-year warranty on the rotor assembly, bearings and drive motor.

Available size classes

Stock changes weekly. The table below shows what we normally hold and the specification range for each class — use it to identify the class you need, then ask for the current units in that class with photos and a run video.

Which class fits your material?

Material hardness and moisture decide the class and the grate design more than the required tonnage does. Match your feed against Table 2 before you shortlist a unit.

Table 2. Material-to-class selection

Material

Compressive strength

Recommended class

Grate design

Watch out for

Limestone (quarry-run)

60–100 MPa

Medium or heavy

Standard grate

Silica content above 8% shortens hammer life sharply

Coal / coke

20–40 MPa

Small or medium

Standard grate

Dust control; check explosion-proof motor requirement locally

Gypsum / chalk

20–40 MPa

Small or medium

Wide-gap grate

Material builds up on wet grates; keep moisture under 10%

Slag / clinker

60–120 MPa

Medium

Heavy-duty grate

Abrasive; budget for hammer changes every 300–400 hours

Brick and tile waste

30–70 MPa

Small

Standard grate

Mixed feed size; fit a vibrating feeder

Basalt / granite / river gravel

> 150 MPa

Not suitable

—

Use a jaw crusher plus cone or impact crusher instead

If your feed exceeds 100 MPa or carries more than 15% moisture, a standard hammer crusher is the wrong machine. Tell us the material and we will say so before quoting — the selection logic is set out in our hammer crusher buying guide.

What condition grade means here?

We grade every used crusher on three measurable criteria — rotor wear, housing condition and wear-part life remaining — rather than on appearance. The grade is stated on the unit page and on the inspection report.

Grade

Rotor and hammers

Housing / liners

Bearing condition

Best for

A

Original hammers with under 20% weight loss; shaft within tolerance

Original paint, no re-welds

No play, no heat marks

Buyers who need to commission within a week

B

Hammers at 20–40% loss; replacement set included

Minor liner wear, sound structure

Slight play within service limit

Most quarry and cement plant buyers

C

Rotor serviceable, hammers at end of life

Visible liner wear, no cracks

Bearings to be replaced

Buyers with in-house workshop and a lower budget

What ships with every unit?

· Inspection report — rotor run-out, bearing play, hammer weight sample, grate gap measurement, housing crack check, all dated and signed.

· Run video of the actual unit — cold start, 10–15 minutes at operating speed, discharge check. Not stock footage.

· One full set of spare hammers and a spare set of grate bars, loaded with the machine.

· Operation and parts manual, plus the wear-part list with standard pattern numbers so you can source locally next time.

· 1-year warranty on core components — rotor assembly, bearings and drive motor. Details in our warranty announcement.

Shipping and lead time

Small and medium units load into a 40 ft container; heavy single-stage units ship on a flat rack or break-bulk. Standard lead time is 7–10 days from contract to loading at Shanghai or Qingdao, then 25–40 days of sea freight depending on destination. We handle export documentation, and can quote CIF or DDP where you need a single landed number. Payment terms and staging are explained in how to pay for a second-hand machine overseas.

Frequently asked questions

What does a used hammer crusher cost?

FOB China: USD 3,000–8,000 for small class, 8,000–20,000 for medium, and 20,000–45,000 for heavy single-stage units. Spare hammers, grate bars and a 40 ft container freight add roughly USD 4,000–7,500 depending on destination.

Can you supply a hammer crusher for limestone at 100 t/h?

Yes. A PCZ1212 heavy single-stage unit with a 1200 mm rotor and a 160–220 kW motor covers 100–150 t/h at a 25 mm discharge, provided feed stays under 800 mm and moisture under 10%.

Do used crushers come with new hammers?

Every unit ships with one full spare set of hammers and a spare set of grate bars. Grade A units normally still have their original hammers fitted with under 20% weight loss.

How do I verify condition before paying?

You receive the signed inspection report and a run video of the specific unit, including hammer weight measurements and bearing play. Third-party inspection at our yard is welcome, and payment is staged against inspection and shipping documents.

What is the warranty on a used hammer crusher?

One year on the rotor assembly, bearings and drive motor, with no extra fee and no separate service contract. Wear parts — hammers, grate bars and liners — are excluded, as is normal for consumables.

Can you supply the whole crushing line, not just the crusher?

Yes. We source feeders, jaw crushers, impact crushers, vibrating screens and conveyors to match the unit you buy, and quote the line as a single shipment where the port allows.

Ready to shortlist? Send your material type, max feed size, required t/h and discharge size through the contact page and we will reply with the matching units in stock, priced and with video.
